09 - 12 mini marshmallows
10 - 12 small candy eyes
11 - 12 pink jellybeans or pink chocolate candies
12 - 12 white paper cupcake liners
13 - Black edible marker

# How to Make:

01 - Wash and prepare all fruits as directed. Combine strawberries, grapes, blueberries, and pineapple in a large mixing bowl.
02 - Evenly divide mixed fruit into 6 small clear plastic cups, filling each cup approximately three-quarters full.
03 - Position two large marshmallows on the front of each cup for cheeks. Place a mini marshmallow or pink candy between the cheeks for the nose. Attach candy eyes above the cheeks using a small dab of honey or icing as adhesive. Draw whiskers and a small mouth on the marshmallows using black edible marker.
04 - Fold each paper cupcake liner in half and cut into ear shapes. Secure two ears to the back inside rim of each cup using tape or edible glue so they extend upward.
05 - Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 4 hours before serving.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Your kids will actually eat their fruit because it has a face and personality they helped create.
  • Zero cooking required means you can pull this together while chatting with your children instead of being stuck at the stove.
  • The whole setup takes just twenty minutes, making it perfect for last-minute party invites or sudden creative urges.
  • You can prep the fruit ahead and assemble the bunny faces right before serving, which is a parent lifesaver.
02 -
  • Wet hands will destroy your candy eyes and marshmallow placement—keep a dry towel nearby and work with completely dry fingers, or use a toothpick to position delicate pieces instead.
  • Don't assemble these more than a few hours ahead because the moisture from the fruit will start making the marshmallows weep and your careful artwork will blur, so timing your prep to assembly is crucial.
  • Pink jellybeans stick to marshmallows naturally because of their slight tackiness, but mini marshmallows will need that dab of honey to stay put, so choose your nose material wisely.
03 -
  • Stick the candy eyes on while the marshmallows are at room temperature because cold marshmallows straight from the package will make the eyes harder to position.
  • If your edible marker ink isn't dark enough, draw the whiskers twice—the second pass will be darker and more visible once you're done, and nobody will notice you went over the same lines.
  • Get your kids involved in the actual assembly because their involvement turns the snack into an experience, and honestly, they're usually better at this kind of detailed work than adults anyway.
